Timing Unit
•Photo shows a new factory timing unit – switches have not been properly set
•Red thumbwheel adjusts screen “Down” stopping position
•Blue thumbwheel adjusts screen “Up” stopping position
•One full / complete turn of either thumbwheel will make roughly a 10 inch difference in the screen’s stopping position
Adjust Screen Travel
•Carefully operate the screen – use a second person stationed at the screen’s control switch
•Use the adjustment thumbwheels to correctly set screen’s top and bottom stopping positions
•On the “Red” thumbwheel - Clockwise adjustments will decrease settings & counter clockwise will increase settings at the screen’s deployed position. The “Blue” thumbwheel – Clockwise adjustments will increase settings & counter-clockwise will decrease settings at the screen’s retracted position.
•You can not reduce the screen’s travel when it is fully deployed. Move screen up a few feet and stop. Then at that time you can turn the “Red” thumbwheel clockwise to decrease the screen’s stopping position. •Also make sure the batten stops safely under the screen roller when the screen is fully retracted. The bottom of the batten should rest in the same plane as the opening of the housing.
•Make sure when completed that screen does not rest on floor or stage when fully deployed – SFC advises a 6 inch clearance between floor and batten center
