What is it?
The Stewart Filmscreen Multi Option Screen Trigger (MOST) is a screen trigger interface device that uses a momentary pulse contact to engage the switching inputs of low voltage control boxes (LVC).
What does it do?
The MOST provides an external screen trigger functionality for the Stewart LVC. It will also trigger many other brands of low voltage controllers. When the MOST receives a 12 vdc trigger signal, it pulses the contact closure "down" input of the LVC. When that signal is terminated, the MOST pulses the "Up" input of the LVC. In this fashion the LVC can also be connected in parallel to other outboard switches or relays. This allows users to have multiple control options for a single screen.
What screen models use it?
Most small retractable electric screens including:
- Cascade G1 and G2
- Stealth
- Large electric screens (commercial)
How to connect the MOST to an LVC?
- Use the attached small 3 conductor wire to connect the MOST to switching Inputs of the screen’s low voltage controller (LVC). (See diagram below)
Color code for connection:
Red – Up, Black – Down, Silver or White – Common
- Plug in the trigger source to the 3.5 input jack labeled Projector Trigger Input 3 – 18 VDC.
- Plug in the main power cord to a constant 120 VAC outlet.
